Lightfield vs Monaco

The short version
Choosing Monaco means making two decisions: who runs your outbound this quarter, and which CRM your company keeps for years.
Monaco describes itself as a revenue engine. Every customer is paired with a forward-deployed sales executive, and there is no self-serve option. The CRM inside it exists to serve that outbound engine.
Lightfield is an agentic CRM first. It captures every customer interaction, organizes that history so agents can work from it, and gives agents the tools to do consistent, good work. Building pipelines is one of the jobs it does from that foundation.
You can switch outbound vendors quickly if you get that decision wrong. A wrong CRM decision leaves you with the wrong record for years.
How Lightfield is different
- Records update themselves from customer interactions.
- Pipeline is built from your own calls, emails, and meetings, not a purchased list.
- Custom objects and relationships follow how your business actually works.
- Temporal context shows what changed, when, who was involved, and why.
- Knowledge and Skills teach agents how your business operates. You own them and can read and edit them.
- Lightfield records and transcribes your calls.
- You can use Lightfield through the product, API, MCP, and CLI, always within workspace permissions.
Why we built it this way
Lightfield exists because of something we couldn't build at Tome. We wanted to help every seller walk into a meeting prepared, but the data the models needed wasn't in any system. What customers said, what worried them, and why they bought was scattered across inboxes and call recordings.
We believe agents can't do reliable work without data they can trust. When an agent gets something wrong, the problem is usually the data it was given, not the agent. So we built the record first.
Try it yourself
We wrote this page, so don't take our word for it. Run these six requests in both products, on your own customer history:
- Set us up on our real data, including every account, contact, and deal.
- Draft a follow-up to a real account that quotes what they said on our last call.
- Show me why a real deal slipped, and what it looked like three weeks ago.
- Build a dashboard of win rate by deal size.
- Change this live sequence.
- Show me API access to everything you hold about our customers.
Then check whether any of these finished without someone retyping data. If a vendor won't let you inside the product with your own data before you commit, that tells you something too.

Where Monaco fits
Monaco will staff and run your outbound for you: a forward-deployed sales executive, an early-stage playbook, and nothing for you to build or maintain. If you're starting from zero customers, that is a reasonable trade, and it's the buyer Monaco is describing.
Once customers are talking to you every week, outsourcing the outreach also means outsourcing what they've taught you. Lightfield is built for that stage, when you have customers, a way of selling that works, and a team investing in scale.
Migrating to Lightfield
Point Lightfield at your inbox, calendar, and call history. It ingests the data, models it to your business, and backfills months of past conversations in about an hour. Our team runs the rest of the migration with you, whether you're coming from Monaco, HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, or a spreadsheet.
If you're mid-contract with Monaco, ask us about pricing accommodations for switching. Lightfield can also run in parallel, so you can compare what each system surfaces from the same conversations.
